This is my first match against KingNordy (who’s wearing some strange clan tags for this game).

After a solid streak of victories dating from September 13,2008 to October 13,2008, I faced off against a very formidable opponent.
This was my first battle against Nordy. I played him again recently in battle #1259, and that video will be available on October 27, 2008.

Everytime I log into Gamespy, miscellaneous clanmembers keep saying that I’m not good, and that I play only noobs. Sound familiar? Yes, sounds like Gaz and Jomen, but honestly, many clannies talk like this.
I even heard this guy, }{AoE}{Zeke, saying that my Macedonian tactics were “easy to beat” (based on what he saw in my videos). ^_^
In any case, }{AoE}{-Zeke is constantly praised as being one of the top clan players. He was a nice opponent face-to-face. It turns out that I’m a much bigger fish than what those ridiculous clan trashtalkers make me out to be.
We played a best 2 out of 3 games on Tuesday morning. These are the highlights from each game.
In any case, if you hear anymore clanmembers berating me as a player, you can just laugh at them. They’re full of crap.

This is my 2nd game against KingNordy. If you guys remember, he ended my 30-day winning streak a few weeks ago in battle #1212.
KingNordy is a very respectable opponent (and highly experienced as well).
I lead my trusty Macedonians into battle.

I hardly play Total War online these days, but I decided to have a game or two just now. Here’s a replay of a 2v2 match.
Me (right side) and my ally happened to both play as France. The two enemy armies were the Holy Roman Empire and Poland.
In this battle, I engage the German army quickly before I get hit by his handgunners and catapults. I slammed all of my infantry – a mix of dismounted chivalric knights and dismounted noble knights – into the enemy lines. I also channelled all of my cavalry into the enemy’s left flank, hoping to rout his units there quickly. I suppose my cavalry charged too early – the enemy refused to rout and the battle became bogged-down, and very very violent and bloody. It’s a reason why I love this game… you can’t help but gape at how violent yet magnificent ancient wars were.
Anyway, the enemy flank eventually gave way, thus freeing my cavalry to help take out the remaining HRE units. My ally was also kind enough to send some help over, while he managed to hold his line. The HRE player resigned and the game ended thereafter.
Post-mortem: I committed my cavalry too early in the battle. Should’ve used them to slam the enemy flanks hard after the infantry engage. Should also have reserved a couple of dismounted noble knights (22 attack) for a charge down the center later in the game.
Good thing the enemy general died halfway through the game – I didn’t have a general at all.

For this “live”-commentary, I decided to add commentary after I recorded the footage. This would make it easier for me so that I didn’t have to talk at the same time as I played. It’s pretty distracting for me when I did that. This is my 2nd time playing this game since ETW came out.

This is a vengeance video in which my opponent, |Sith|4|Duke_Jomen, had been talking trash about my videos saying I only play against noobs. He also said that I would get pwned by a clanmember like himself. Initially, I ignored him, but then I saw him on Gamespy spreading lies about how he supposedly beat me in a Gaul vs Egypt battle LOL
Only the lowest form of scum would resort to making fake battle results to lure me out into a game.
Anyway, I use Macedon for this battle.
|Sith|4|Duke_Jomen, my godly opponent, uses the Numidians. Keep in mind that I’m on very friendly terms with the |Sith| clan, but |Sith|4|Duke_Jomen didn’t seem to understand that.
