Classic Game Room HD reviews THE QUEST, a 3D RPG adventure game for the iPod which is like 1980’s PC role playing games! DOPE! Published by Chillingo (same folks who published iDracula) and produced by Redshift, THE QUEST is a 5 1/4″ floppy disc style masterpiece. Create your stereotypical RPG character, give them a name, choose from a variety of races, strap on some armor and weapons and then accept quests. Slaughter robbers, amazons, ogres, cyclops and skeletons. This game is friggin’ hype. This CGRHD review of THE QUEST on iPod has gameplay footage recorded in HD from iPod Touch, The QUEST playes on iPhone and iPod Touch and is available for download from iTunes for a modest fee. The Classic Game Room character is ZAXZON and he’s an undead who wants to massacre monsters, drink mash rum and beer and hook up with ladies. And you know what… it can all be done in The Quest. Fans of 1980’s role playing games like Bard’s Tale and Ultima will relish this game while younger gamers should find a compelling and complex game contained within your little iPod. Remember when we’d crash 286 computers with monster games like this that stretched across 5 floppy discs??? The iPod is awesome and the Quest is perfectly suited for it. Beware, it will suck your life away as you level up your character and drain the iPod battery in record time crunching all of the weather effects and 3D rendering. Whatever, QUEST-ahoy! This is a playthrough of the Sierra adventure game Kings Quest V CD version. This version was released in November of 1990. This was one of the first adventure games to explore what the multimedia aspects of a CD-ROM could achieve. The results made it the highest selling PC game at the time. I will continue to post more Sierra Play-Throughs’ Enjoy!

Platinum Arts Sandbox Free 3D Game Maker – Bot Test Map
Welcome to the Platinum Arts Sandbox Bot test map video! This is a rough map put together courtesy of Clownfish to show off the abilities of the bots. Unforgettable games! This movie is a tribute to all the classic Sierra On-Line games and also to EVERY person from Sierra who helped bring us these games.
A few people have asked me who all the faces were at the end of the video (I wish I had included their names in the video along with their pictures). In order of appearance after Ken and Roberta: Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe (“Space Quest” designers, as the Two Guys from Andromeda), Al Lowe (creator of “Leisure Suit Larry”), Christy Marx (“Conquests of Camelot” and “Conquests of the Longbow” designer, beautifully rendered holding Excalibur on the cover of “Sierra Magazine”), Lori and Corey Cole (creators of the “Quest for Glory” series), Josh Mandel (“Freddy Pharkas” co-designer, who also contributed to a wide variety of Sierra On Line products), Mark Seibert (musician and composer of some of Sierra’s most famous themes) and Jane Jensen (best known as the designer of the Gabriel Knight series). Of course, so many other wonderfully talented and hardworking people from Sierra no doubt also deserve recognition for their work in providing us with such great entertainment over the years. I also wish I had been able to include all of them in this video. Finally, someone mentioned that the end of the video seems a bit random with magazine and game box covers, but that run-through is just to show the incredibly prolific nature of Sierra and its evolving and consistently top quality products over nearly 20 years.
