“MAG: Massive Action Game,” Unveiled by Andy Beaudoin from Zipper Interactive, MAG — whose trailer looked like “SOCOM set 15 years into the future,” according to our eyes on the scene, will immerse players in large online battles of up to 256 players. The trailer featured multiple terrain types, complex tactics, and sounds very much like a SOCOM MMO at this stage.

Character growth will be accomplished through an advancement tree, which allows players to fine tune their players throughout massive campaigns. “MAG will deliver an intense and long lasting shooter experience,” said Beaudoin, who also described the game as “a workout even for the PS3 architecture.”

This will be a PS3 exclusive!

Zipper are aiming for a “Spring 2009″ release date so keep and eye out for it!

Classic Game Room reviews GOLDENEYE for the Nintendo 64 N64 video game console. This N64 review shows gameplay through various levels and missions in the game. Although instead of completing most levels smoothly and by the books, CGR went crazy just like Bond in License to Kill… we went rogue! We slaughtered everyone without mercy including scientists in lilly white lab coats. Take that brainiac! Think you can outsmart a hail of bullets from James Bond!? GOLDENEYE from Rare for the N64 is one of the best first person shooters ever created. It has a massive single player mission, intense and exciting gameplay, smooth controls and excellent sound design. After playing this game again we can see why CGR likes Time Splitters so much… it was made by some of the same designers! Goldeneye raised the bar quite high for shooters on home consoles. No longer were FPS games just for PC gamers who clogged computer labs with Doom for days on end, now you could sit in the comfort of your own sloth-hole and shoot through the Golden Eye video game or blast your friends in multiplayer. This was before online multiplayer so you actually had to have friends in the same location… Although little more can be learned about Goldeneye after millions of people have fallen in love with this game and written volumes about it, Classic Game Room gives is a nice retro review where we recommend it to new gamers who may have missed it the first time, and challenge those who played it in 1997 to pick Goldeneye back up and crush the enemies of James Bond one more time. Classic Game Room is the ultimate retro video game review show online, in space and underwater. If you want to watch old school game reviews, watch Classic Game Room. Goldeneye needs a remake for the PS3 and Xbox 360, will it ever be remade?

Hello, and Welcome to another sneak peek into PlayStation 3 Exclusives. This time we take a look at the online portion of the best shooter ever made, the one and only, Killzone 2.

This video is ONLY the Multiplayer Online portion of Killzone 2 (just a small portion of it at that). Full 32 Players, and as you can see, it is lag free and boasts some of the hottest graphics in gaming today! Headset works perfectly as well. Just look at the video and you can easily agree, this is what a REAL FPS is like!

I finally have beaten the game on Veteran with incredible times (and most of the game on Elite as well) so I decided to finally do some videos on this great game. I also decided to use Rammstein music again as thats whats on my playlist. This time I use the songs Buck Dich and Laichzeit. I hope you like them.

All I can say is WOW, what a fantastic game! Since this is the Multiplayer video, I will write the review about the rest in the Campaign video.

All I can tell you is if you don’t have a PlayStation 3 yet, then you have no idea of what your missing out on! This game is by far the best FPS I have ever played (and I’ve played most of them since Wolf3D and DOOM). It just doesn’t get any better than this.

This game is in 720p/1080i native, has Dual Shock 3 Rumble support, Trophy support, and has DTS Surround sound quality (along with uncompressed 7.1 PCM like most PS3 exclusives).

Hey, just read on www.n4g.com that Killzone 2 multiplayer was up so I decided to test it out and indeed it was up running. However, the servers are still not stable because of many disconnections and network errors that you will witness at the end of this video. Those issues should be fixed when the game officially launches 2 days from now. Anyway, here’s a quick look at what the online might end up be like on launch. There was a bit of lag specially when killing your opponent. It takes a couple of secs for them to die after shooting them alot. They just fall flat in an awkward way and that is a bit annoying to be honest. Like I said the servers aren’t quite stable so this might be the main reasons why I was getting all those errors and disconnections and death lag. Anyway, there you go. Enjoy.
