Is it just the idea of playing with people all over the world?

Have you played any online multiplayer games? If so, what?
I did for a while
It was fun at first, but the thing about MMORPG is it takes a lot of time and dedication, what some calls as "grinding", that is you spend hours everyday doing same thing over and over to level up your in-game character,
I strongly dislike that idea. I like casual games, games that i can play for awhile, then I go do other stuff. I hate when a game require too much time, time that I would rather spend doing other stuff.
Thats why I quit
I don’t want to make video game a priority of my life.
I think the rewarding thing that many enjoy is when you have a character that is high level, people sees them as "pro" players, because it reflects how much time and effort that player put into advancing his character
Some people think thats a good thing, I don’t
