Ultimate Multiplayer Online Games Space

I’m willing to download stuff as long as it’s free.
I’m really looking for something where I can build a character to be really happy with…

I’ve played stupid things that kept my attention for a short amount of time like:
Adventure Quest
Dragon Fable
Flyff
and Metaplace

And then I’ve played some not so stupid games that kept my attention for quite a while like:
Runescape
Dofus
and… well… actually that’s about it.

I’m looking for something not so boringly simple like Adventure Quest and not something so overwhelming like Runescape(which I played til I got a level 60 something character over all, became a member, and then lost my membership… the game reeeeeaaally began to suck then…)

So pleeeaaaaase …
I’ve read about Maple Story but I heard it was bad :/

Any help?
Do any good free rpg games exist out there?

A few MMORPG’s that are large download files, but have somewhat good reviews.
- Perfect World
- Ether Saga (same company as Perfect World)
- Runes of Magic

I play Runescape still as it’s simple to still play and easy to follow. There’s gonna be a new browser MMORPG coming out this year similar to Runescape called Earth Eternal.
